While we cater to the business community for our whole suite of services, we believe in giving back to the community because everyone is so busy these days and it's too easy to forget appointments. Using Your Email


Use this as an example, change whatever you need:


1. Create an email message to REMINDER@LISTWORKER.COM

2. Put the reminder you want - into the subject line. Example: "Car show at 8am - Downtown Omaha"

3. The first line of the body is the date of the reminder. It can be like "April 20" or "Apr 20" or "04/20", or "04/20/2025" (for example, no quotes). No other format for the date will be accepted.

4. The next line, underneath the date, should be the time. like 8am or 8 am or 8:00am - please note you MUST use am or pm after the time. If you leave it out, the reminder will be ignored.

5. Send the message.


That's it!


You will receive a confirmation email asking you to confirm the time zone related to the time you specified. All future reminders will remember the time zone you select.


If you need to edit the reminder, please be sure to keep the confirmation email because it contains a 4 digit access code needed to change the reminder.


Using Your Browser


Just fill out the form below with the reminder information and submit the reminder. You will receive back a confirmation request. You MUST confirm at least one reminder otherwise the reminder will be deleted.

A very big problem in society today is forgetfulness. It's not a mental disorder for most, it is just because everyone is so darn busy, busy, busy. That's ok, busy can often be good for many people. The person just takes a picture of the QR code on their phone, and voila, they are transported to the reminder screen with the date, time, and event listing all pre-set. All they need to do is enter their email address, hit submit, and the reminder is in!


Footers to Help You Say More


If you are having a special deal for the month or want to tell your customers something they should know, you can add that as a footer to your reminder message. For example, let's say you are an HVAC company and are reminding your customers to change their filter every 4 months. This is a perfect opportunity to offer to do the filter change for them and while you are there, you have a special deal going for the month to give their system a checkup. Why not say that in the reminder. It's a perfect opportunity to (a) remind your customer of the filter change and invite them to have you do a checkup while you are changing the filters. There are hundreds of different uses of footers in reminders, so let your imagination get busy.


Reports to See and Edit Scheduled Reminders


Once your account is setup and active, you can view all the reminders in the system or even look for specific customer names to edit. The system will send out a 24 hour pre-reminder alert to each scheduled reminder as well. No sense in surprising someone of an appointment - give them a 24 hour notice. Yes, that's already built-into the system.

What do you do with my information? Nothing. We aren't doing this for free so we can sell your data. Your information will not be sold, rented, shared, blended-with, or given to anyone for any reason. It's kept in a database and is not given out.


Do you do Text/SMS Reminders? At present, we do not for the main reason that Text/SMS messages cost a lot of $ and we'd wind up changing our model from free to not-free, and we dont' want to do that.


Seriously, why are you doing this? We have an enormous amount of spare capacity on the servers in our data center. It is being completely wasted right now because we have built our core service ListWorker.com to grow so large. Even as our core service grows, we will still have an abundance of extra capacity so we figured "let's make a neat service that others can use." So we did. There is a second reason: business users. Most businesses will never outgrow our 500 free reminders/month free service. But almost ALL of those businesses need our core services too. And the core services are not free. Our goal is to help those businesses with the free reminders and also educate them on the value of purchasing our core services. That's it.


Will you have ads in your reminders? Good question. We've thought about it, and are still thinking about it. If someday we do put ads in a reminders it will be at the bottom of the reminder and not shoved in your face like so many social media ads. We just have not crossed that bridge yet so we don't know if that day will come.


Why is this for US-residents only? Very simply, time zones, laws in other countries, and abuse. There are tons of time zones all around the world and also tons of country-specific data laws which can be a burden to us. We have found that many countries have laws about email messages and how they should be delivered, what type of data we MUST keep on file (forever), and what to do with a "delete me forever" request. We also found an amazing amount of abuse coming from some countries where they want to cause as much trouble as they can. It's not worth the time when offering a free service. This service is made by Americans, for Americans. All labor involved in creating and maintaining this site is 100% American.


Will you be offering new features? Absolutely. Once we get enough feedback from our users we will then make the system "pretty" with nicer looking screens and fancy fonts, ent pictures, etc. We believe in letting our users help steer the direction of the service so if you have ideas - we'd love to hear them.


Can my company just pay for this from day 1? Yes. We have a mix of clients that want to pay from the beginning to get the support and coaching they feel is needed to get their new reminder process up and running. That's fine. A Few Simple Rules....

1. Your first reminder will need to be confirmed. The system will send you an email containing a link that you MUST click on to confirm your reminder (Note: subsequent reminders do NOT need a confirmation.) We did this because we want to make sure you are a real person. Really.

2. The reminder you send must contain just text. No images, no image references, no HTML, nada. Just a plain old text reminder. If the system detects HTML or binary data in your reminder, your IP address will be blocked and the process will end, for you, forever. Why? Because people like to put malware and all kinds of nasty stuff in binary and HTML data and we'd prefer not having any of it here.

3. Remember this is free for personal use. By using this service you are agreeing that there are no warrantees, guarantees, promises made from us to you, and, by using the service you agree to hold us harmless from any accidents, events, mishaps, mistakes made, or other misfortunes you may have by using the reminder service. We had to put this onto this page because so many people are sue-happy and enjoy destroying good things.
